Brad Loman and Keith Jenkins are the fourth innkeepers at this inviting Dutch Colonial-style B&B. A dream was realized to own a business of their own when Brad and Keith heeded the call to be innkeepers. After moving from California to remind themselves of the traditions and seasons of the Northeast, they set their sights on finding an inn. A great location and a stately old home were at the top of the list of their inn's virtues. They knew when they stumbled upon O'Flaherty's Dingeldein House their search was over; they had found The Lancaster.
Keith's background is in design and home furnishings retail, employed by talented designers and decorators, and most recently, as a manager with Crate and Barrel.
Brad enjoyed a long and successful career as a Costume Designer for both film and television. Feature films to mini-series, Brad logged thousands of hours of television to his design credits. With over 33 years of design behind him, recently it felt time to retire from the entertainment industry. During his years designing costumes, he continued to develop his passion for the culinary arts working along side Chefs and restraunteurs around the globe. Since retirement Brad has successfully begun sharing his food knowledge in the classroom. A passion for food joined with a desire for caregiving makes owning a bed & breakfast natural.
In 2019, the Lancaster will begin Cooking Classes on the premises of the B&B offering classes and often paired with lodging packages. Guests will have a full culinary experience.
Brad and Keith enjoy discovering all of the beautiful treasures of the Amish countryside, the richness of the area's history, and exploring the multi-faceted Downtown Lancaster.
