Best Things to Do in PA Dutch Country

Explore the sights and sounds of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  Come for a live theater show and stay to experience the other great things to do in Lancaster PA.  Scour local antique stores for treasures and outlet shops for bargains, or pick up fresh produce and baked goods at Lancater's Central Market.  Take a ride on a steam-powered locomotive on the Strasburg Rail Road or an Amish buggy ride. The Fulton Theatre

Lancaster offers a wide variety of theatre and staged entertainment year-round.  The Fulton Theatre built in 1852 is one of America's oldest continuously operating professional theatres.  We have live dinner theatres, regional theatre as well as the American Musical Theatre.  AMT provides not only original musical production year-round but a vast lineup of some of the best touring performers and shows.  The Lancaster Bed and Breakfast makes a great alternative to hotels near Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster PA

Central Market Lancaster PA

Strassburg Railroad

Explore the unique and interesting attractions near Lancaster PA like visiting Central Market in downtown Lancaster, Farmers Markets, shopping, Amish goods and crafts, and train rides through Amish country.  The PA Renaissance Faire is downtown shops and galleries. Spend a couple of hours with a personal tour of Amish Country, and don't forget to take an Amish buggy ride in the Amish countryside.

Ballooning

While in Lancaster County spend some quality time doing outdoor activities.  So enjoy the many hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking or even zip lining around Lancaster PA.  We have wonderful parks with wonderful trails and rivers to explore.  And not to forget Hot Air Ballooning high above PA Amish Country.

Longwood Gardens

This is a short list of the Best Nature Spots in Lancaster PA. Longwood Gardens is one of our favorite local Nature outings.  We also have the only Wolf Sanctuary in the Mid-Atlantic, not to be missed. Kayak the Susquehanna, hike/run along the nearby peaceful Conestoga River Greenway trail, or meander through Lancaster's Central Park.

Hershey Park

We are just a short ride away from two area theme parks, Dutch Wonderland, a family theme park, and Hershey Park, one of America's "premier" coaster parks.  Take a look!
